Okay.. I've been out of it for a while.. so many things happening.. Holidays are just around the corner, I'm trying to finish up this Semester of class... ahhh.. Anyways, just wanted to share a session I did in the beginning of October.. I know it's been a while..

So it's starting to get pretty cold here already.. omg.. I'm so dreading the cold.. Yesterday we got into the car and the seats were ice cold.. ahhh.. I'm so not looking forward to Winter... So we had a pretty great weekend with family! It was great breaking our routine a little, now that the weekend is over it's back to the grind. The holidays are just around the corner! Amazing that this year is just flying by so quickly. I found a Halloween costume for my little one and she's gonna be "Jessie" from Toy Story. I can't wait to dress her up and get some cute pictures! Did you find costumes for your little ones?

So I'm late with my "What to wear" for Monday, but here it is.. I took the day off to actually do some homework, I didn't get very far but at least I did some. hahaha.. I decided to do some fall colors for this set. As it starts to get colder I'll continue to post with some cute winter gear.

So, I'm going to dedicate Monday's to blogging what outfits to wear. I get asked this question before most of my photo shoots, "What should I wear?" I would recommend you coming in something comfortable and simple, and don't be afraid to add a splash of color to your wardrobe even if it's just accessories. We want all the attention to be on you :) Since it's starting to get a bit chilly out now days my first blog will be for Fall.. I can't believe it's already Fall and before we know it Winter will be upon us... Anyway, I'm going to set my calendars and every Monday I'll post a "What to wear Monday." Remember just be ready to have some fun! Here's what I put together. All clothing on this could be found at Old Navy.

Fix it Friday #70

So I decided to join in on the Fix it Friday today! I used Photoshop CS3 for this. I did multiple layer adjustments and curves. I masked out her eyes to keep it looking natural. I then ran an action from AMP Actions called Ocean Spray and tweaked it a little to my likings, then I did a textured Damask background and decreased the opacity to 20% and masked out her face and hair. Below are my results and the Before and After photos! Thanks for looking!!

Hello all, I know it's been a while since I've updated but I promise it's for a good cause!! I'm actually in the process of starting up my website! Yay! So I can't wait to get that going. I'm also registering to go back to school so I've been busy busy these days! I have a photo session tomorrow and I'm super excited to finally meet the person I'm shooting! So we just went on a 3 week vacation and I wasn't able to get on and update anything... We had a wonderful time, it was busy but still great because we were able to hang out with family! I took pictures for my cousins' wedding and took so many other pictures!!! Oh my! It may take me forever to catch up in processing but I can do it!! :) Just wanted to drop in and say Hi to those who missed me.. hehe.. I will be back to post pictures later this week! Stay tuned!! So my hubby and I went up to Ohio to enjoy some well needed vacay time with some great friends! I've actually known her since high school! She's one of my BFFs... It was great lounging around like old times and reminiscing on "those" days... We had our fair share of fun and now we were sitting in her living room staring at my daughter crawl around.... Still hard to believe we are adults now!

Anyways, with out further adieu I'm going to have some photo previews up of her photo session we had on Saturday! It was a pretty cold day! I think she will agree with me though that the wind burn we both got on our faces were well worth it for these shots we got! Love you guys!!

The day I was Born!!

So, I was born on the island of Guam and today is OFFICIALLY my 25th birthday.. but here in the United States it's tomorrow! :) My mom posted this picture of me when I was a little girl and wrote (made me relive) her birthing experience with me.. lol.. It's been really bad here with the blizzard that we've been snowed in all weekend and we are having another storm today and it'll last until tomorrow.. These here are the "UNOFFICIAL" photos of my little girl enjoying her little cake on the night of her birthday, I still want to do some in her tutu better late then never! It was a rainy cold night and daddy gets off late from work. We let her enjoy her birthday cake and it was around 9-9:30pm on January 21st. My baby turned ONE! :( It's so bittersweet. I love watching her grow up and adding more milestones. On January 20th, 2009 I was admitted in to Labor and Delivery at 8:30am.... Jayley graced us with her presence at 12:22am on January 21st. Words cannot express how much joy I had the first time I held her. I couldn't even sleep. She was beside me in her little bassinet the whole night and I just laid there watching her. Who would've known a whole year was was going to fly by so fast!? Sure hit me by surprise!!! haha... I would look back at all her newborn photos and then look at her in front of me standing holding the couch and I'm just amazed! We are in love with her. She is with out doubt OUR LIFE! Ok... so here she is.. our princess!

My baby playing with the huge Christmas light bulb we got as a prop.. :) This was the second picture shoot for Christmas pictures... Yes we are late on the pictures but I think as long as we took it.. I'm happy with that.. At least we captured it...

I'm going to post a couple of Christmas morning as well! She was just not interested in opening her gifts.. she kept crawling away from it.. That morning we woke up I picked her up out of her crib and brought her outside to open her gifts. I think I was much more excited than she was...lol.. Oh well.. She was so cute with her morning eyes and her bed head. I clipped her hair down because it was standing up everywhere.. So just wanted to share our second Christmas pictures and my baby girls first Christmas.

We were getting ready to take our Christmas pictures and my little one was crawling everywhere and she got so excited to be near the window! I think the thing that excited her more was that we weren't going after to to remove her from what she was doing or about to do. So I'm going to try and commit to this because it's something that I'd love to have for myself as well as for my family to have forever. I'm joining Amy McMaster on capturing life as it happens! I want to run and grab my camera when Jayley gets brave and starts to stand without any help, or when all the spaghetti gets all over her face and she's determined to pick up that little piece of noodle that fell on her table, when she's playing contently with her Leap Frog caterpillar, or her first day at daycare. All these things and more are memories that I want to keep forever! So, I know I am going to make the effort to continue this as long as possible, would you like to join us? My baby's helping me and her daddy put up her first ornament for her first Christmas holiday!! It is quite grainy and this was because the only light we were working off of was the Christmas tree lights... :) I love this picture none the less.. She is our world!!

How was your Thanksgiving?? I didn't have a good one.. My daughter was sick and we were at the Emergency Room.. sooooo needless to say.. I want a do over...lol.. No.. just kidding.. I'm just happy my daughter is better..:)

Okay we we did have a make up Thanksgiving Dinner... Sunday afternoon... I also had a unplanned photo session. Just taking around our apartment complex. Enjoy! I am also using some of Amy McMaster AMP'd Presets for Lightroom! :)

Tonight we had Spare Ribs, Brown Rice, & Broccoli for dinner.. yum huh? Yes it was!!! :) My little munchkin had Chicken Noodles and waited patiently after she swallowed her food for another spoon serving. I am blessed. I am so sleepy. My daughter was up pretty much all night so I only got 2-3hrs of sleep in. :( I have to stay up because I have an appointment today. So I decided to blog and post two or three of my pictures that I took with my 50mm lens... The last three are SOOC and the first one I tweaked a little.. I put her in her bouncer (what I used when she was smaller, I don't use it anymore though) because I wanted to see how she'd react in it now that she's older and OMG.. it was too funny. She was giggling and shaking with excitement.. There's one picture I posted because it made me laugh the way she was sitting on one foot and the other was stretched out.. Anyways, I've been trying to catch nice weather outdoors so I can get the full effect of what it does.. but man! it's so hard since Winter seems like it's starting to approach fast this year. I will however take my camera outdoors today though. It looks like it's going to be a good day! *Smiles* wish me luck!

I got my Nikkor 50mm f/1.8 lens from my hubby on Thursday night, but I have yet to really use it to it's full potential! It's been so cold and rainy the past couple of days. I was supposed to do 3 shoots at the end of this month but that doesn't look like it's going to happen. To make matters worst it was actually going to be my first maternity shot for my portfolio and I was really excited, but we will see what happens. I haven't been feeling too hot myself. So, since one of my shoots were supposed to be an infant I'm very hesitant on that now. Oh the joys of our fast approaching winter. I'm going to run an errand out and see if I can get any pictures today. We shall see.... Stay tuned!
